anyone watch this morning?

they had some weather lady out in jersey trying to tell us how bad it is up here after 8 straight days of rain. so they put her in a canoe in the street. so just after her first sentence three guys walk by about 5 feet behind her and the water is barely above thier sneaker tops, while the moronic reporter is sitting in a canoe:ChatterB:  . gotta make it always look worse than it is

not to take away, but there is about a foot of water covering half of jersey and long island. i had to park around the block from my house.:|

That is so wrong but true. Rain does strange things to people's moods & there overall mind set. Well at least it is friday, even though it is going to be a wet one.

Re: good morning america

i fucking hate rain. i can deal with it when its hhot out, but once it dips below 75, i cant stand it. i like snow more than rain. at least you can stay dry in snow. rain just sucks.
We've been through every kind of rain there is: little bit of stinging rain, and big old fat rain, rain that flew in sideways, and sometimes rain even seemed to come strait up from underneath. Shoot, it even rained at night. This one day, we was out walking like always, and then, just like that, somebody turned off the rain, and the sun come out.
Re: good morning america

I love rain, maybe because I'm from S Ca and we dont get much, but I love the whole landscape looks of it. The fat dark low clouds, greenery, the noise... it's awsome.

Damn Media, they always always gotta make the news be bad. Bad news is what's always on, and if it aint they gotta act it out. They should have had her wear one of these too :what

Re: good morning america

I dont think its the rain but the lack of light that makes people depressed. We get loads of rain here in Florida but its hardly ever overcast and therefore don't see too many people complaining about it in context of being depressed.

Re: good morning america

They have even developed light therapy for peepz like me, that get a real depression sometimes during winter...

#494265Post 16 of 20

Re: good morning america

there ia an actual name for the depression caused by lack of sun called S.A.D. stands for "seasonal affective dissorder"

#494266Post 17 of 20

Re: good morning america

Yup. Seems I have that, but not a heavy one...they have recommended me lighttherapy, but that is just too damn expensive. Better solution for me is to get out as often as i can and taste the fresh air (when it's not raining, that is).

And snow actually cracks me up, i LOVE snow!!

Re: good morning america

We had it last winter: snowstreetfights galore dude, even gown-ups (i may be 25, but still cherish the 5-year old inside me) turned into little rascals, heheheh....

And you can start a snowfight with a few hot chicks, and then see what happens afterwards (cup of hot coco, kiss, sex..whatever). And (for the 100th time) you can build man-sized penises on train platforms to shock people. SNOW RULZ
