Also just picked up a new laptop with internal wireless. I'm picking up a signal but need an encrytion key. Can someone help me out with this? wephck

probably an encrypted signal from your neighbour .. if its yours, your ISP should give you the password for it otherwise give them a call and give the guys from customer service hell

You should be connecting to the wireless router to set up your wireless network. You hav to give your network an SSID, and an encryption key.

Once that's done, your notebook might detect more than one wireless network. Select the one which matches your SSID and connect to that.
