reborn from the fm board.

i really enjoy the work of David Shrigley. Click Here

i love his sense of humour.

i also love Lucian Freud's paintings, the honest and unflattering way he treats his subjects is somewhat compelling.

i am looking forward to seeing the Edward Hopper exhibition at Tate Modern

i love his moody american vistas. the way he expresses the relationship between people and buildings is fascinating.

Re:: who are your favourite artists?

Depends on the type of "Artistes"

Jenna Jameson .... or Edward Hopper.

Both different choices for obvious reasons.

Personally, for musical reasons, I've been diggin the mixes on Chris Micali's site.

Re:: who are your favourite artists?

I like Friedensreich Hundertwasser a lot, either his architectural work and his paintings.

That?s a building complex he created:

and that?s a kindergarten in my hometown Frankfurt:

This is a nice painting from him:

Re:: who are your favourite artists?

There is so many breathtaking artists out there, the one that fashinated me most when I went to art school was Hieronymus Bosch! The way he depicted the relationship between heaven and hell is for me mindbogling. Also how he in the 15th century could come up with these images of the most horryfying monsters and creatures with bodyparts missing or naked women having sex with the devil etc etc... crazy! (no wonder priests back then loved his work and used it to scare people to obey them...)

you can see more of his work here:

and here is an example...

:Stupid: I'm a big fan of Hieronymous Bosch's "Garden of Earthly Delights," it's a triptych depicting Heaven, Purgatory, and Hell. I also love Dali, and Van Gogh. I'm a big fan of most art, however the more modern stuff (like Pollack) is boring to me. I do enjoy modern sculpture though.

Re:: who are your favourite artists?

I like Dali, yes I know TONS of people like Dali. But going to his museum in St Pete, fl, is an amazing experience, and very informative about his life and art work.

I also like Van Gogh, Starry Night (I may be off on the exact title)

A very inspiring artist I believe was Keith Haring http://www.haring.com/
