Formatting large usb flash drive to FAT32 format

As alot of you probably know, most stereos, cars, etc. that feature a usb for a flash drive usually have to be in FAT32 format. This of course in most cases limits the flash drives to 32GB, although I do have one or two larger ones that came in FAT32. I have looked up several ways to format a larger then 32GB drive to FAT32, using PowerShell or the Command Prompt. Neither has been sucessful, they both inform me that the drive is too large to format( it is a 64GB, tried two different ones).

Does anyone know of a better way to format these larger flash drives to FAT32? One that actually may work for me? Thanks for any advice;)

Bro how old is the car? Get a carplay monitor and solve all your problems.

Well its not for the car but for the home stereo. However now that you mention it, car is a 2003 Lexus LS...no usb but it does have a cd changer and a touchscreen that I do need to now replace. Plus it has a cassette player, that ive used once

I still have a brand new Maxell MX-II tape still in its wrapper that I saved once I moved to Mini-Discs. Uni days.

Nice. Actually the one cassette tape I played in the car was this mixtape I bought on Bedrock in 2021 that was mixed by John Digweed

I did find a reliable third party program that allows me to format large flash drives to FAT32 format. Problem solved. Just want to have basically all my music on one usb and stick it in the stereo and go....
