Re: What is your most valuable record ?

Probably Highland-No Way Out - the original release on Vapour Records. Had to buy it from Australia.

I also have a copy of Horse-Careful with a message from Dave Seaman on a piece of paper inside the sleeve (at least it sounds like Dave)

Re: What is your most valuable record ?

My most precious record is an original Bedrock cut of Heavy Fluid or Circulation - Silver... (If you don't know about this release, it's a god damn shame...)

Other Mentions:

Menmon: Locotus Circulation - Limited 8

Re: What is your most valuable record ?

Probably has to be Shmuel Flash - Chilling Moments [Bedrock]. I remember standing in the midst of a Phazon during Delta Heavy when Diggers dropped this- first time I ever rolled and the first time I heard a Phazon. Truly chilling moments for me.

Re: What is your most valuable record ?

Erm, hello... Nothing will ever replace my Expander EP. Ever. Ever.

Tis a record that gives meaning to the word timeless, and I cannot see how any record will ever better it. The mp3 didn't do it justice, and neither did the cds, I had to buy 1210s solely to listen to this masterpiece in all its glory.

Re: What is your most valuable record ?

As far as Value goes, I would have to say Desyfer - 831 (Global beat recordings). Im pretty sure I can get rid of this for big big value.

Other "valuable' records are older quality trance like records around 97 - 99.

Re: What is your most valuable record ?

Schiller - Ruhe (Humate and Tom Middleton remixes)

Been looking for that one for years, and has a strong emotional load to me: I even cried when I first got to lay it down on my decks, speakers blasting and the sun just breaking through on that moment. Chilling moment.

Re: What is your most valuable record ?

Um. The original Northern Exposure 4 pack. When I found this in the used bins in Aron's records in LA I swear I held it up like He-Man holding up his magic sword and screamed YES!!! to the whole store.

Re: What is your most valuable record ?

In terms of monetary value, I have most of the original Skam eps and 7". I have seen Jega- Ska006, Boards of Canada - Chinook, Boards of Canada - Ska 007 and others go for more than $100 on ebay. Sometimes I think I should cash out, but I like them and don't need the money.

For progressive house, hmm. I have a blue vinyl promo of the Blue Amazon mixes of Bedrock - For What You Dream Of. Way Out West - Domination, several on Jackpot, including Tenth Chapter - Wired, and the Bedrock mix of Chakra - I Am.

I remember hearing the mp3 of this set for the first time. My jaw dropped and hit the floor at the point Chilling Moments dropped, and it stayed on the floor for the remainder of the set. It still amazes me every time I hear that, even though I play that at least once a week. You're a lucky bastard for being there for that!

Re: What is your most valuable record ?

my most valuable record is one i don't really even like that much, richard wolsdorf - tia (below 02). a guy i know on discogs paid 45 euros for a copy of it on ebay. i also have eric van den broek - shiver 02, which is supposedly rare but i have no idea what it's worth.

Re: What is your most valuable record ?

Sasha - Arkham Asylum Leftfield - Phat Planet (10" one sided thingybob.. loved this tune when it came out)

My all time favourite record is:

Lucien Foort - Gemini. I loved this tune to pieces throughout university and still do now

#486385Post 27 of 32

Re: What is your most valuable record ?

my most notable..

sasha - expander (on acetate not vinyl). (months before it was pressed.)

worth the most money...

live david bowie from seattle recorded onto vinyl. there are only a few copies that exist. live queen album recorded, bootlegged onto vinyl and only given to a couple radio djs (one being my dad.).

and a few other classics worth loads from led zeppelin, jefferson airplaine, and a few soul albums.

#486393Post 28 of 32

Re: What is your most valuable record ?

hmmmm... probably Espiral - 'Dunne', an old sasha favourite from 1991. Its a spanish sax tune with a balearic vibe to it. Pretty hard to get hold of now, I believe its worth silly money.

Its an absolute tune aswell....
