Re: Photography

what did you look at ? TopLeftPixel won the award for the best amateur photoBlog so if you're referring to those photographs he took, look again

Re: Photography

i still didnt find anything to watch there, "the best amateur photoBlog" right said, it`s just a simple view of his day to day visual experience, if u have Canon EOS Digital Rebel 350D u can do it much way better :p

Re: Photography

Re: Photography

Yes, Eugenio's work is an inspiration for me... And yea, Sam (topleftpixel) is pretty good too... Although I find some of his work emotionless and boring sometimes. There are tons of great photoBloggers out there... My favourite is Justin's work. Its all analog and hes simply amazing : http://www.chromogenic.net/

(Check out my work: http://friskypics.com ) It sucks I know, but hey - its fun!

Re: Photography

F, your blog is one of my fave's as well dude. Love your pics, and hope to practise to get similar quality someday...

I'll prolly take it it easy on a cam in the beginning though, getting something like a G6 or it's successor. Don't wanna end up blowing too much money on something of which I don't know yet, despite my initial plans to get a DSLR ;-)

Re: Photography

which one got published?

I go on a trout fishing trip twice a year. Took a bunch of pics last weekend. Lots of cool ones of the natural world which is just amazing, but i really dig the water reflections like this one...

the pic is actually upside down with the trees and horizon being just a reflection, i dunno, just makes it trippy or something with the reflections and different textures going on:

Re: Photography

More nature pics from my flyfishing trip last weekend.

I've been going twice a year now for about 4 years or so, i end up with a lot more pics than trout, but three days in the wilderness is pretty theraputic for the mind.

It's pretty cool all the weird visual things nature does on it's own, a lot of people just look at it tho and say, "Oh, look, tree."

had it not been for the slight breeze, this one would have turned out a lot better reflecting the horizon.

The sky is blue and all the leaves are green. The sun's as warm as a baked potato. I think I know precisely what I mean, When I say it's a shpadoinkle day.

I'm no expert, but that first site did nothing for me :NotMe: I'm sure there's alot going on that I don't appreciate, but the pics just don't look all that good, they just look artsy-fartsy
