the americans were having alot of trouble writing with ball point pens in space . apparently biros don't like zero gravity and the extremities of cold . So N.A.S.A. invested $10 million to invent a pen that could work in zero gravity . it could also write within temperatures ranging from -200 celciuos to +200 celcious and also write perfectly well in the vacume of space .

fuck that. we as Americans need to ensure that we were the first to invent something, whether it's practical or not. That's where the Japanese learned it.
