I just saw PvD in SF this past weekend, at 1015 Folsom. There was your usual selection of hair-gelled pricks outnumbering decent girls, but a good show I must say. I was really into Icey's opening set, a DJ I'm not that big into, and Paul ripped it there on out.

Irrespective of how much trance bashing would go on with PVD (minus teisticle as yao calls him in bed), I think PvD plays some CRAZY shit live.... 4 hour Mix Live at Club O was one on my rotation list for a while.... I saw him in Boston during a brown out where he spun for 2 hours instead of 6 and he just ripped a new one for Avalon.... didn't one of diggerz older albums have a PvD track ("Words") on it ??

I lost interest in trance a while ago. But like E said PVD does play some decent shit. Actually his politics of dancing had some bedrock tracks on it, IIRC it was the same track found on Fortiers bedrock cd (or was it JVM?). I haven't listened lately but PVD did provide for some great nights just a few years back.
