:MadNow:

I just registered a PayPal account because I'm trying to buy some shirts from a site that only accepts PayPal or Check. PayPal doesn't support Firefox, and has crashed my order after order completion prior to payment. The site I'm ordering from doesn't have their PayPal address online, so now I'm stuck with nothing but a huge headache from emailing my situation to the online company and waiting to work with customer service.

Now I know why I've never registered with this POS.

Re: PayPal

Never had a problem with FF and Paypal. Stop using Windows 3.11 for workgroups and get on with the Game. :)

Re: PayPal

Thats why I never used FF, just IE, surf safe, use a firewall, and dont go downloads software from site's that replace O's for 0's and you'll be free of most junk...

IE all the way, I dont miss tabs that much to let of it, will wait for 7.0

What do you mean by that? I use nothing but IE - never had a problem. I think Microsoft's got better things to do than put backdoors into their software just so that they can see what lil old me's doing like my Sister thinks.

Re: PayPal

PayPal works fine for me on FF. Is this an isolated incident or something wrong with your FF settings?

I mean if you update any of your software from MICR0S0FT.COM instead of MICROSOFT.COM then you know you're getting your share of shit to deal with

Re: PayPal

I've contacted the support and payment has been taken care of... two shirts on their way. It may have been an isolated incident, but seeing how it was also my first FF incedent it left a pretty bad taste in my mouth (worse than the time I met jibs in Miami)

Re: PayPal

originally i was really skeptical about the whole paypal thing, but after a few transactions I began to realise it was probably better than spreading my credit card numbers all over the web. Never had a problem with pay pal. have had some trouble with the people who use paypal. Overall I would rather use paypal than bidpay or some of the others that tack on extra fees.

Re: PayPal

never had any problem with paypal personally, but if you type in google paypal, the first result is paypal, the next 3 odd are anti-paypal sites, such as paypalsucks.com. On there you read some horrible stuff about paypal, like if you enter into a payment dispute they freeze your bank account so your mortgage and shit don't come out, there's stories of people who have lost their home, their kids, their wife went with their brother, all because of paypal.

something like that anyway.

Re: PayPal

glad I didn't give them my bank account number. I should remove my credit card number too, until I need to use it again.

Then you are limited to spending 1000 (?) bucks max. Eventually you have to put in a bank account number to get "verified". I just added a second checking account with my bank since I was going to start selling a few things on eBay, for use with paypal.

Re: PayPal

based on the fact that I've only spent $40 in the past 6 years that PayPal has been around, I'm guessing I have 150 years before I run out of spending power :)
