Good set,but he played better... :Bingo: I don't like this set,because this set was very light!Ultra light :WinkNSmi: But he is a great DJ,and i love him!

#217816Post 3 of 51

Its one set split into two. The reason they are named the same is so as you can join the two parts with hjsplit.

Remember how long this night was. This is the beginning of a 10 or 12 hour set.

Once it all comes out, you may feel differently. That's the best thing about Danny: the wide range of music that he can bring to the table. He can go from total downtempo to the most raging electroclash wackiness there is.

I'm looking forward to getting the whole set!

Re:: Danny Howells - live@Arc, NYC (March 27, 2004) pt1

Danny is ususally an excellent dj, but I have to say the last performance of his was pretty bad...

It was in orlando and it was his 4th show in as many days, so maybe that had something to do with it.

But overall I really love his style...I really think Desyn is similar in his style.

#217835Post 6 of 51

how fucking awesome is that pat metheny group remix on part 2?

#217837Post 7 of 51

As i said before...this night was amazing & I had tears in my eyes as he played the last track and only the true danny fans were left standing past 10am.

Share this on soulseek. Give it to friends. The more it gets out the quicker Danny will share the rest.

Join both parts of Danny Howells - live@Arc, NYC (March 27, 2004) and then both parts of Danny Howells - live@Arc, NYC (March 27, 2004) 2nd part with Hj-Split, that?s it.

After you joined the parts and renamed them, you should have two sets with a filesize around 112 MB each. DannyHowells-live@Arc,NYC(March27,2004)pt1.mp3 and DannyHowells-live@Arc,NYC(March27,2004)pt2.mp3

Re:: Danny Howells - live@Arc, NYC (March 27, 2004) pt1

I love how it starts smooth house and starts going up slowly. Some of those tracks remind me of Day Disc in 24:7 which i love BTW. :LoveYou:

Danny is really amazing. :RockOn:

#217918Post 13 of 51

Listening to Pt1 now, top tunes and sweet mixing. I?d be very keen to get my hands on the whole thing.

check this out... danny howells is coming to san diego in a few months time to club L5...

is it worth it for me (with a fake id) to go drive 100 miles down to san diego to check him out? his performance @ coachella was nothing short from energetic and :RockOn:

I wouldn't drive 100 miles with a fake I.D - doesn't sound like a solid plan! Danny is known to be one of the most touring djs out there so I'm sure he might show up closer to you house very soon...

:shock: :shock:

yeah, 100 miles is a long way for someone to come pick you up after being locked up for trying to use a fake id. :shock: :lol:

the next part is starting to go around on slsk now, im grabbing it as i type. imaginatively its labelled as part 2, not to be confused with the ms renamed part 2 which is just the second half of the original part 1.

#218856Post 22 of 51

is it just a continuation from where part 1 left off? this set is sounding sh*t hot so far

He started at 9. You guys gotta learn to appreciate the downtempo side of things.

Don't worry, I'm sure he'll be bangin' it out by part 3 or 4.

I love some of the down temp tunes that he's span early on in Part1.

Re:: Danny Howells - live@Arc, NYC (March 27, 2004) pt1

these two ms parts are the first files i have from danny. i must say, it's very chill-out (especially part 1) but good/fresh house music :Naughty: is his gu nubreed mix good? i'd like to extend my cd collection.....

Re:: Danny Howells - live@Arc, NYC (March 27, 2004) pt1

the first part resembled the stalker set which really disappointed me because of its disco house trait. that's why I didn't bother to download part2, but this morning outstanidng parts 3 and 4 blew me away. that was howells I highly admire :Bingo:

Agreed, the Stalker set didn't really do it for me...

This on the otherhand is something very special.

his nubreed mix is spectacular. nothing short of brilliance. danny was just starting to step out from behind digweeds shadow with these cd's. and, imo, they thrusted him into stardom overnight. dont wait another second on finding these discs.
