Boot into safe mode and remove this:

...make sure you're in safe mode first.

POOP! I thought that might have worked. But he's still getting IE crashes and random popups while idle (the random popups appear to be cming from IE even though IE is closed). He's also getting the same popups in firefox.

if the browser is still crashing, do this: [list][]Run AutoRuns []Go to the Internet Explorer tab []Wait for the hourglass to disappear from it []Uncheck everything except [u]Adobe Acrobat IE Helper Version 6.0 for ActivieX[/u][/list] try running IE. If it works, just delete those things

did you uncheck everything in the IE tab? Even do the Acrobat one... it says "Activ[u][b]i[/b][/u]eX" for some reason
you should do this all in safe mode

try microsoft antispyware....if you are able to download it on another PC and x-fer it over or burn it and install.
Its MS crap...but sometimes it'll do a decent job removing this sorta crap.

they have the "jeffreycollins is in your extended network" bullshit at the top of the page... it means you're friends with someone, who is friends with someone, and so on, until you've reached the profile that you're currently viewing.
Tom's such an idiot. Unless everyone on myspace deletes him from their friends list, all of myself will continue to be one huge "network" of related friends

yeah, what is up with that stupid extended network. is that supposed to make like we are all friends in one way or another. it's just code that should be deleted. Along with those profiles that takes a week to load because of all the shit they put up on there.

Since were on the topic...Pickle, how did you do your page? A normal webpage I can do but I'm not really sure how myspace works on page customization.
