Re:: Best Recording tool
I use Jet Audio. Is for free & works perfect. Is recording software , burning software , converter & I-Net radio station tuner - all in one. One of the best freeware I know.
Total Recorder
and Streamripper (so easy)
soundforge is my best for editing
total recorder most definitely
Total Recorder, Soundforge, and Streamripper are all great, They each serve its purpose.
Streamripping=Ripping shoutcast live streams on it.
Total Recorder=With the proper mp3 encoder, It can record directly to mp3 format, But this program should only be used if your recording from a live source, Say an FM tuner, It also comes with a scheduler so you can schedule a recording while your gone, As long as you have the FM Tuner running in the background.
SoundForge=I use this program mostly when recording from a live source, paticularly, The FM tuner, Since I can easily edit the wave files to cut out the comercials.
pssssh, SOUND FORGE all day baby! ;)
