I'll never forget him droping Sweet child o' mine by Guns n Roses when I saw him at Cream in Liverpool. Eveyone lost their shit for about 4 minutes. It was magical.

His ibiza IMS interview was very revealing, seemed like he'd got his head together ... but mentioned women as an addiction - which based on the allegation his demons led him way too far.

Very sad for all concerned.

TBH. I did question why she stayed at his house. In the statement, she said she found a room on her own to go to sleep in, normal people would have got an Uber and left.

Mr C posted about rumours in the industry of Morillo raping in New York and ibiza - also that, for a girl to stay at his Ibizan villa there were house rules attached i.e. they had to sleep with him.

I'm sure enough women will have thrown themselves freely at Morillo as he was famous etc. But it also seems, along with taking advantage of his position to pray on the weak, he acted as a predator - hunting down women, finding ways to make them sleep with him, coercing and forcing himself .. and when they refused, drugging and raping them.

Makes you wonder how many other stories will come out and other DJs named. The sad thing is that people must have known about this or seen him hassling women and making them (at the very least) extremely uncomfortable - yet no-one challenged him or did anything to say what he was doing was wrong, or shame him - so he will have continued on his path ... you'd assume getting progressively worse and more aggressive in his approach. A shameful side of nightlife industry.

I'm not defending Morrilo, but this Krysten could have managed the situation differently. You would have thought that with all of the rumours in the industry Sanchez, would have been more switched on.

No, I am not. Krysten, comes across as someone that likes attention. I've been in some states in my time, but I have always been able to order a cab. Uber make that even easier, yet she decides to go back into the house. To label her as the Ashley Judd of dance music is a bit rich.

Morillo must have had a reputation already and I'd have hoped any female with any knowledge would have avoided him like the plague. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but based on those warning signs Kristen should have walked. He'd made a pass at her, ran out after her naked and then instead of getting her friend and them both leaving she started DJ'd again at his house with him.

Was it Kristen's fault she was raped ? 1000000% not - Morillo sounds like an absolute predator that just couldn't stop himself - the Bill Cosby of dance music and then some. Sickening and makes you wonder if there's others out there, although not on anywhere near his level.

Should she have seen warning signs and left ? Absolutely.

If I walk through an area that people have said to me is notorious for muggings and then have a close run in with a pickpocket but persist in walking through there, only to be mugged and am told that with hindsight "I should have" turned back then I'd say that in some way I had been careless and put myself in a bad situation I could have avoided.

Are you saying Kristen did the right thing in deciding to DJ with a guy that has just come on to her, then chased after her naked when she has a partner because the victim can never be blamed?

She should have left with the other girl, and retreated away from the situation as soon as she could. She wasn't to blame, but crikey ... she seems to be lacking common sense and was careless - something she will now regret for the rest of her life.

Also - the womans boyfriend should have told her not to go over to his house.... 27 years of that behavior is certainly enough time for Morrillo to have had a reputation, at least among those who were close to him. I'm sure there is more to the story, there always is, but as it reads in that article, the woman must have been under the influence of drugs and or alcohol to have gone back into Morrillo's South Beach mansion after he pleaded for her to do so without any clothes on. Because the naked crying should have been enough to confirm the rumors the man is not right in his mind.
