Hunter went out with a bang!

the rolling stones magazine had a cool issue on Hunter S. right after he died. the man was a genius

One of the greatest writers ever.

i heard about this ceremony sometime last week. i'm sure hunter is on perma-trip up in the clouds and beyond. r.i.p.

a friend of mine's square parents were telling me about this a few days ago. They just came back from Vegas and saw this go down. Some funeral I say. They didn't have a clue who he was, and I didn't want to reveal too much about myself by clueing them in.

My favorite Hunter moment was when he was on The Late Show and was asked about what he keeps in his basement. Hunter rattled off a few things and included kegs of gunpowder. O'Brian interrupted, "why, may I ask, would you have kegs of gunpowder?"

"For making bombs of course, why else?" Hunter said.
