! quit a couple of years ago, it was a waste of energy. But I joined back a few months later because I realized it was my only link to a selected group of friends that are dear to me.
Since then I mostly joined groups that share my interests, so reading FB is closer to a rss feed, without all the perverse mechanics of social media.

I'm not defending FB or social media, I think they're horrible and, mostly, a waste of time

^^ You would not believe how much flack I have received over the years because of my refusal to sign up. I also suffer because I won't do whatsapp either. :lol:
