Is there a noticeable difference between these two rates (24bit 96khz vs 16bit 44.1khz) for digital sound files.

Just downloaded the new tool album and there were several quality dl you are able to choose from.
was wondering if it made a bid difference as the file size for the 24 bit are HUGE!

thanks

yes, there is a big difference in dynamics and in audio band wide, but you need to have an audio system able to work good in that dynamic range and band wide.

Most of all, you need a software player and the proper hardware to play hi-res files. Otherwise you're just listening to the same Redbook files.
