I know there are some serious gamers on here, so I have to ask: are today’s video games categorically much different than the ones we grew playing in the 80’s? I have 2 sons and the older one loves Minecraft and fortnight, and it seems like every kid I know does too. Back in the day the same could be said for Tetris or Mario Bros or Sonic for you younger members. My question is - are these games harmless nonsense, perhaps useful or just a complete waste of time?

Nice! guess I had the same concern after my first son was born.
