That's a question that plagues mankind. I don't want to step into 'stereotypes' and 'generalizations' but virtually every black person that I've met cannot enunciate the word "accept" or anything that sounds the same at the beginning. It always gets butchered into "assept". The wife is an English teacher and it befuddles the two of us.
