my soulseek is suddenly crashing on me a lot.

the more i think about it, how in the world has the US dept. of consumer affairs not delt MS a huge fine for forcing the worst product upon us? and dont say MAC cause they dont take any damn programs. everything is written for windows.

I'm guessing it's related to the new version of SLSK. Probably has something saving in the user profile that isn't compatible with the old version :not me:

SLSK has sucked ass for a while. Shitty search engine and forget about donating, you never get bumped up in the lines anymore.

I find the search engine is SO inconsistant, if i run three idential simultaneous searches they usually come back completely different. Very frustrating because as far as I'm aware there are no decent alternatives.

Second, if you've donated as much money as I have to slsk, you to would have the right to have an opinion on how crappy it is.

You'll have no trouble finding many people with the same opinion as mine.

2 things...

   one.  You responded to, rather than ignore my "instigating comment", which merely sarcastically pointed out that as much as searches can suck on slsk, there isnt really any large network out there that is even close to better for electronica... and if I was unaware and spoke too quickly, then...

   two. You would have called me out by naming one instead of stating the obivious that you aren't the only person on the planet that likes to bitch and moan when they have to wait for something.  A donation is a gift or an act of charity, it is not something that you recieve something in return for (by definition that is, unfortunately not often enough in reality) So essentially if you aren't "donating" anymore because it doesnt let you skip ahead in line, does that really give you the "right" to tote yourself as some sort of jaded ex-benefactor?
