Im looking for a free program that I can download and use to edit some of the longer sets so that I can burn them to cds. I recently bought an older car and while it has a great sound system, it only has a CD player and doesnt have a usb drive or play mp3. So in order to listen to some of the longer sets I have, I would like to edit them and burn them to CD...like I used to :p. If anyone has had any luck with a particular program, please let me know. Thanks.

Re: Free Program to edit long sets?
Audacity worked perfectly. Now i am good to go. Hated to not have the ability to play half my music library in the car. And I didnt want to buy a new stereo deck for the car, because it would never fit right in the dashboard, plus the factory sound is a seriously fantastic Alpine system. tThanks again, this is a huge help

Re: Free Program to edit long sets?
Maybe I am the only one but I use HJsplit
Re: Free Program to edit long sets?
But what if you want to remove comments or clicks? 'Edit' can mean a lot of things. I think Audacity is indeed a good choice. And maybe MP3Gain before decoding to WAV to prevent clipping.
Re: Free Program to edit long sets?
anyone remember the days of hjsplit?
