I made a post on ms1 about it. it was very helpful.
does anyone have any thoughts on good or bad mp3 mixing programs?
once again, thanks in advance.

well... traktor if you actually wanna use your computer. add a midi device and its really nice. my roomate had a tiny keyboard he used to use with traktor running through my mixer and it worked well.
my favorite mp3 mixing tool is nero :)
nero? never heard of using that to mix mp3's. that program does just about everything except scrape the mold off my granny's tool shed. :Hmmm:

damnit. i'm slow sometimes.
Re:: What mp3 program do you use to mix mp3's?
as others have said, you want traktor 2.0 for mixing mp3s. i've never used it myself, but i've heard the results and they are pretty damned good, considering. one thing to be aware of is the sound level of the mp3's. try and get them all to the same base level so that the mix doesnt change drastically in volume.
Re:: What mp3 program do you use to mix mp3's?
Mixmeister, Traktor.
You might want to check out Sony (formly Sonic Foundry) Vegas 5

It's really, really good. I know it says its for video, but you can stretch (resample, timestrech, or pitchshift) audio as well, with amazing acuracy.
Re:: What mp3 program do you use to mix mp3's?
i have used pcdj (red i think) and atomix (mp3 mixing for dummies)
both are just okay, i never got into it too much
