SLSK = Garbage IMO. Damn thing still slows my system down to a near halt, I fuckin hate it. I`ve tried everthing, even spending ?2500 on a brand new rig. (not totaly just for slsk I should add :unsure: )

What's with you hating Slsk? I'm just super grateful there's another forum out there where we can share great sets and stay up-to-the-hour on what's happening around the world with music. But we're all entitled to our opinions, I'll give you that.

I still use Soulseek on the regular...it seems people actually know how to encode a decent MP3 these days. You can hit me up sightless, I've got about 56 Gigs of house, mostly live sets, [ms] sets and a couple CDs I've ripped to MP3. Same name.

i've just upgraded to the new 157 version .... it works better than the older version but i think its running on a different server from the older version as there are lesser people on it and the mercuryserver room is empty

ure supposed to run 157 alongside 156 ( both on together ) but music taste and topic are fucking aweful so not had 157 on for along time . i just found out about the fact theres a mercuryserver room on slsk so if u want to brouse me feel free and if u are a serious collector of music i'll open my other files to you

PD: 157 uses a complete different server, till everyone update the slsk you won't be able to find as much files as you can get on 156c, though you can run both of them with the same nick at the same time.

I can honestly say that in the 2.5 years I've been using SS I have never once gone into the chat rooms. I get quite enough chatting with you characters as it is. :x
