These label releases never do it for me. They are too restricted. I like DJ's to play what ever they want regardless off label or genre.

Hernans lable releases are the only ones I get into and buy now days. I would have probably bought all of Diggers live in CDs if they sounded better

moonshines mixed live CDs had the format down, wish others would do it there way. Listen to Dj Micro mixed live at Avalon CD and hear how they did the recording.

If I listen to Digweed's Live series, I think Dance music is in a right mess. Then i listen to Burridge, Fair, Van M, Howells etc and everything is ok.

^^^ I bought Montreal, it just didn't work for me. Got to the middle of disc 2 before I found something I would have wanted to dance to. I played until 6 and gave up.

Seeing Sudbeat is a Hernan's label, he will probably play as he likes :) We all have different tastes anyway, the important thing is how much we love music. Looking forward to this immensely !! :D

depends on what you want out of dance music. not to state the obvious, listening to his live sets on disc is a different experience...live. JD tends to live in the cold/techy realm, which is why he works well when paired with Sasha's more warm and emotional sound.

^Would agree. I thought I was listening to his original Balance CD at one point.

Used to love Hernan around 2003-2007 - his Metrodance shows at that time were excellent. But I find his sets extremely bland at the moment. I admire him for sticking to his sound, it's just not a sound I have much interest in at the moment.

^^ His previous Balance was probably my least favourite, some great tracks , some didn't do much for me . One I hated !! :lol: What I hear of this one I find nothing like his other balance. So far everything about this one is I really, really like. Usual deal, we all have different tastes. :) Let's be thankful for that ;)

Pretty sure it will get less than 5 stars from R.A. Which is a plus for me :lol:

CD1 is less ambient electronic and feels more like early on at Woodstock. With all tracks being new and Sudbeat, it's definitely diversifying the labels sound. Some fantastic tracks in there too :)

Mastering is so important. !! :) It was one of the things that made the last Hernan Balance less than perfect for me.

One of the reasons I love CDs is the cover notes , you know who does the mastering. :)
