If there are any in this section what do you people propose we do to fix terrorism?? after all this time I have never heard what muslims would do to correct the problem..

this is only for the people who have the balls to answer..

Re: FAO Muslims

i am not a muslim, but i think the best way to fix this shit is stop killing innocent people. period.

#446845Post 3 of 33

what these extreme fundamentalists fail to grasp is that each time they inflict pain on innocent people, we grow stronger. i cant say it enough, people enjoy living their lives too much to be frightened forever.

Re: FAO Muslims

They should turn in people that they know are extremists...

have a $ per turn-in.

#446896Post 5 of 33

I'm not a muslim, but to address someone on the basis of their race is degrading, this thread am sure could invite some healthy discussions but does have the potential to turn sour at the first hint of which will go down the locked path folks....

I agree. FAO Muslims asking them how we can fix terrorism suggests they all have control over it. Racial profiling. this doesn't offend me (See HERE ), but I know there's a lot of pussies here that would. I think this thing should just be deleted now to avoid an annoyance later

Re: FAO Muslims

hello??

muslims are not a race! you guys are getting carried away i think... whoever's responsible for terrorist acts is only using religion to control a small group of fighters, either paid off or with their families as hostages. the question is who's sponsoring these well organized acts and i doubt the rest of islamic people have anything to say about that. it goes far beyond religious conflicts or what not...

#446908Post 9 of 33

The fact that terrorists are using Islam to justify their attacks should piss off normal, peaceful Muslims. I know that Christians would/should be pissed if we started killing innocent people with Christianity as justification.

Also, seeing that terrorists happen to "practice" Islam isn't profiling. It's being minimally observant.

Terrorists suck.

Re: FAO Muslims

i believe it regards the power of religion, how fanatic can you get christian religion forbids killings, but i think(correct me if i'm wrong) islamic religion doesnt forbid killing in the name of islam, all that holly war and other shit so it comes to people's intelect to decide when its ok to kill in the name of islam so what i think is that these terorist are a bunch of fanatic low intelect and really disturbed people who understand islam in their own way you cant ask someone stupid and fanatic to think rational, because they are retards religion can fuck things up really badly, it happend centuries ago and it still can religion should be teached more lightly, not like some mass brain wash, because its a dangerous weapon

Re: FAO Muslims

Ok I'm Muslim ( not very religious) and believe me all this shit happening around with the name of Islam is pissing me off big time. I don't think i have a solution that i can give to solve the whole problem ( or otherwise i would be working in the CIA by now) but i have 2 things to say, All Muslim are against killing civilian ppl whatever the reason was ( and it's against our religion to kill civilian ) i used to live in uk for some time ( I'm back in Egypt now) and i have friends and family over there and i was disgusted about what happened in London and believe me every one i meet here since that day feel very sad and disgusting that such act is carried out by Muslim or related to Muslim groups ( which most probably the truth) So the majority of Muslims ppl are against what happened and killing any one.

I think the problem is very much related to what is going on around the Arab world, if you know the problem then you can find solutions or @ lest try to, however it doesn't work out this way all the time especially in a complicated part of the world, i see the problem in 2 point:

1- The state of the Arab world countries, No Political freedom, regions that been rolling for decades, no education, no economic progress, poverty ...and the list goes on and on .... So basically allot of ppl here now fuck all and got fuck all, which make them a very good soil for terrorist idea's, who are very organized groups, however most of the Muslim religious group have very good ideas for the society and are not against any race or other religion ( this what Islam say) they only problem comes from fuckup groups like Al quaida.

2- This is to do with all the shit happening in ME from Israel to Iraq ... and i don't need to talk about it as all have a full picture about what is going on.

I really don't know how 2 fix this, but i think ppl started to think in more realistic way about Muslim, not the same as after 9/11, as they know that majority of Muslim are against killing ancient ppl, and Again there is nothing in Islam that say you kill civilian ppl regardless holly war or whatever war ...this is bollox that was justified by the terrorist in order to kill more ppl ..they are actually bunch of CUNTS.

Re: FAO Muslims

its like asking catholics and protestants how to fix the IRA problem...

extreme fundamentalism occurs in many religions, and is extremely tough to fight since it requires changing people's beliefs. having said that...

one thing i'd love to see the states and britain do is admit they have not done the middle east any favors by trying to influence the region via military force. i think anyone here who had another country set up a military base in their backyard would be more than a bit pissed, especially when the reasons are mainly to serve that country's self interest.

#446929Post 13 of 33

Re: FAO Muslims

elevate the live standard in the middle east so they can live a nice live without worries, that would make it alot harder to recruit kids versus now were they have nothing and nobody to look up to except the fundamentalist who give them awnsers and solutions.(the wrong solutions tho)

What do you think Bush is doing?

Morality of western society is built upon the theological virtues of Christianity. Bush is a crusader. He is on a global mission.

Re: FAO Muslims

I am mslim too guys,

and what I wanted to say is that there is a big poverty and illetracy problem and instead of helping these people by educated them and empshesizing on the importance of education you do the exact opposite and a very good example is what is happening in Iraq ( i am totally against thoes bombings and the killing of innocente people wether it is in London , New York, Madrid or anywhere in the world ) but I am also against all the shit that the amiercans did in Iraq and the hundreds of people dieing every day there on TV , what i take on the western world is that when someone dies there it is a very big sadness but we see on TV hundreds dieng in Iraq and no one gives a fuck which in my opinion is really not correct.

summarizing what I want to say is that if you want to stop all these killing s and terrorist acts push people to learn and togo to school because education helps alot in becoming a normal human being.

Re: FAO Muslims

Je t'ai compris Amir ;-)

But...Bululu, you say we need to educate them: but how are we supposed to do that? The Western countries in general are not getting much access to Islamic or Middle Easter countries, not even France. Besides, the West has a debt to fulfill in Africa, but less so in the Middle East. There too, personal freedom will have to grow, and governments will have to concentrate on less religious education but more 'occupational' education, teaching people a trade instead of one single book.

The biggest problem is still inside the religious core IMO, although I must say the West hasn't really done much to help the people there either....

Re: FAO Muslims

Yao let me tell you something and these are facts , I am originally Algerian and ALgeria is the first country that suffered from this Terrorism shit and this dates from 1990 and we lost 150000 people since then ( nothing compared to the attacks on the states or the UK ) and guess what , the mosques of London , Frankfurt , Rome where the main places to collect funds for these muther fuckers and it was done legally in front of the Police eyes , and guess what the UK government (while 1000s of people were slaughtered in Algeria) that it is an internal problem and that they didnt want to interfere in internal Algerian problems ,( this is the GSPC groupe linked to /AL QAEDA that was operating in Algeria and trust me my friend Algerians suffered more than any other country in this world from this shit ) and when westerners saw that they might suffer from this shit they want an International coalition against this phenomenen , where were they when we were screaming for help , not even that just to sell some night vision benaculars , there was a Ban on selling arms to the Algerian Army, thats what really bothers me with westerner governments is that when they are not directly hit they never open their mouths but once they are in the shit they want an international coallition, these are real facts my friend lived by me and my familly back in Algeria.

and Yao when I said educate people, yes you can , not by fucking MTV and TV channels but by helping to fund schools and by pressing on governments in this under developed countries to send every chld to school because its a right, and dont tell me you cant do it yes you can especially Americans they can do whatever they want when they want , IRAQ is the most recent example YAO :) .

Chill out dude, and reread my post. I didn't say the West should do nothing in the first place, let's get that straight.

But...

I am aware of the situation in Algeria, I'm not illiterate you know. Villages getting massacred in the night by the Muslim extremists and sometimes the army too (to make sure people stay angry at the terrorists). And of course I know that by educating you don't mean by transferring Western culture. You must think I'm some kind of moron here.... :D Education is a must, but in Islamic or even just Arabian countries they are touchy about the West interfering with their education system. Apart from that, in Algeria the government will be more likely to spend fundings on military equipment rather than school books, and Western teachers and the likes will not be eager to go into an area where they run the risk of being a prime target to get their throats slit in their sleep.

Prime target should be to contain the conflict and maintain a minimal level of political and economical stability in the safe areas once established. Then you can start educating people my friend, not when they're at risk all the time. So yes, some Western help in that (France maybe?) would be welcome.

Terrorism dates back way further than 1990, even Islamic fundamentalist terrorism. The problem with Algeria is that it is indeed terrorism what is occurring there, but in the setting of a civil war. This makes it an internal conflict, and as you know the West will only intervene in such cases when their own interests are at stake. I do agree with you that either help or intervention should be given/carried out there, and you can count on it that at this very moment France is violating the embargo, though be it not directly and only small scale to avoid any suspicion.

But hey, if you like the Americans (read: Bush and his lapdogs) so much, why don't you just give 'em a call? Just promise them a few barrels of oil, and you'll be liberated before you can say 'mississippi'.

genocide of all non-caucasians imo

#447125Post 27 of 33

Re: FAO Muslims

The only places Bush is gonna go and help, is where OIL is found, they have nothing in return in Algeria nor Bosnia. Bush will help but he wants something in return. Where there is no return there is no help. Weapons of Mass destruction was just an excuse...where are they now. I dont see them do you?

Re: FAO Muslims

Yao I didn't mean anythign by my post i was just trying to answer some of the questions , you now I like your music man :D .

Yao regarding Algeria and the information that the army was killing civilians it is bllshit and gebrish , I am algerian and I know more than western medias I think :? . Algeria now is a flourshing country (some shit still happen) but it is like in any country in the world. westenrs are working in Algeria and the country's economy in booming, I invite to take a look at this beautiful website containing amazing pics about Algeria , http://wall2807.skyblog.com/index.html

Also it wasnt an internal affair since alot of the mujahedeens in Afghanistan (Algerians,Morrocans, Bosnians,Saudis, ect ) trained by the CIA, were in ALgeria fighting the government and killing the people , so it wasnt an internal affair .

coming back to our subject terrorism should be treated and not eliminated, these people dont fear death and the more you kill the more they are trust me , so we should look at the real reasons , not by envading Iraq and LIBERATING people you will eliminate terrorism , not by repressing the Palistinian people and letting them live like doggs that you will eliminate terrorism , the western governments are helping the heads of terrorism recruit more people and pushing uneducated to follow this terrorism road .

one final word Life is precious and it is not the right of anyone to kill inocents, being them Americans , British , Iraqis , chinesse

#447220Post 29 of 33

Re: FAO Muslims
. . . not by repressing the Palistinian people and letting them live like doggs that you will eliminate terrorism
I actually agree with you on this point Bululu - once the so-called leadership of the Palestinian people stop manipulating and stealing from their own people and instead invest those stolen funds into health care, jobs and education, then maybe, just maybe, you might begin to end Palestinian terrorism.

#447244Post 30 of 33

Re: FAO Muslims

Yo but isn't the present situation in Algeria a result of the govt annulling elections in the sight of a Muslim extremist victory?

I can hardly imagine the CIA fighting with those extremists...anyway, it wans't taken badly Bululu :D A little heated discussion should be no problem once in a while ;-)

BTW I do agree with you and Dave on the Palestine question mate...I hope to eventually be able to do my little part, but there's only so much one guy can do eh. And those big men at the top have their own (countries) interests @ #1...no matter how sweet they talk to us 'common people'. Politicians are by definition bastards, even the good ones.

#447252Post 31 of 33

Re: FAO Muslims

Yes yao the first elections were cancelled because thoes monkeys wanted to win the elections and they did and return to the unique party period, rule the country by religion and I am sure that if the government didnt stop them that Algeria would have became another Afghanistan.

when I sais the CIA I didnt mean CIa agents helping the terroristes in Algeria , I said that thoes mujahedeens who came to fight in algeria were in Afghanistan fighting the soviets and they were trained, helped and funded by the CIA and when the soviets left Afghanistan they were usless there so there next distination was Algeria.

#447253Post 32 of 33

Re: FAO Muslims

Aha....sorry i missed that. And yea...good thing they stopped the extremists. That is the weakness of democracy...with enough support also malign groups can seize control of the state thru a legitimate way :(
