You gotta have an IQ like...2, to react as black/white as that.

Re: 7/7/05

yeah, I find it pretty lame and discriminating. Only a moron would write a three paragraph petition to keep immigrants from entering the country. Besides, it makes you look like a jack ass to the rest of the world.

For the glory of England, immigrants are not welcome...that includes you America.

Come on and get a grip!

Re: 7/7/05

#446658Post 9 of 23

so basically you choose to mass discriminate against an entire race cause your intelligence community was not doing their job, good one....

best way to keep your dirty laundry in the immigrants basket
Should immigrants be alowed to stay, breed or work in England?
Can anybody with an ounce of sense even take this seriously?

Cosacks, clearly you are full of hate. . . it will be fun debating you over in the politics forum.

Re: 7/7/05

the word "immigrant" is misspelled in the url. kinda made the whole thing even stupider...

Re: 7/7/05

banning all immigrants in the name of preventing terrorism is like banning cars in the name of automobile safety.

Re: 7/7/05

Fuck i didn't even realize mr Cosack actually backed that piece of shit petition up.

People that really stand behind such trash should get banned right away IMO. And mind you, I have never asked for a ban before! But backing this up is just plain fucking xenophobic, not to mention racist. Go ask the KKK to back you up, maybe you'll get some autographs from those empty-headed morons.

Are you not asking for the exact same thing that cosak is asking with his petition, to ban someone because of thire belief? In no way do I condone the narrow minded view that he is trying to put across but what you say resembles much of what is in that statement. Everyone is entitled to thier view becuase that is the free world we live in, unlike the majority of people who carry out the atrosoties they do.

Re: 7/7/05

^^^OH SNAP!

Seriously, there's a difference between banning someone from this forum and deportation. But cosack's just venting a bit of frustration (and maybe going a bit too far); we've all been there. Terrorism makes us all hateful, and we want quick retribution. Well, after we all settle down and think rationally, after all the emotion subsides, we attempt to discover the real complicated truth and how to fix the problem. In this case it may be years or even never that we get the solution we want. Our open society is both our weakness to terrorism and our strength to fight it.

Better occasional terrorism than permanent fascism.

So it`s ok to ban someone from a forum but not baninsh them from a country because of thier beliefs? Why is that so? Is what is said in on a forum less important to that which goes on around us?

Re: 7/7/05

What are the criterion for getting banned from this forum?

#446718Post 19 of 23

Re: 7/7/05

i do think there's a pretty big difference between getting banned from an internet forum, which is a nice thing to belong to and interact with and is very useful but nowhere near essential, and getting deported, which means having to leave your homeland. The difference is one of degree. I think if someone was repeatedly preaching racism they might be banned...maybe not.

Really, its the webmaster's prerogative to kick someone off, for whatever reason. It's really up to them; they don't need a reason. But I wouldn't come down on them for kicking someone off who was advocating violence or hate. Being a citizen is different.

#446726Post 22 of 23

I have to agree with MJ here.

As much as i dislike the link i must support cosacks right in being allowed to post it here - that said, there is a difference between posting an external link and sprouting racist claptrap here (at least i hope there is!)

Re: 7/7/05
Should immigrants be alowed to stay, breed or work in England?

We say no! because of the events which occurred on July 7th in London, we think that immigrants should not be allowed to live in England. Although we cannot point fingers at every immigrant, as not all of them will be there to blow themselves up, to kill many English people - but we can not be sure who, who is there to blow up for this so called "religion".

The terrorists mingle in with the rest of the world, getting jobs and lives just like the rest of us. And then one day, bang, they're gone, along with the people around them - a suicidle c**t. So i hope, you, the British public, can make the right decision.

Thank You. From, Joe, James, Dave, Jake, Darren, Buster, Harry and Chelski boy
Accuse me of jumping the gun or not, there is a difference here IMO:

the views that Cosack would hold if he seriously backs that petition up are, to say the least, xenophobic. Wether he is a racist too I cannot say from here. Freedom of opinion, fine, as lang as it is not going to harm anyone in the short/long run. And Xenophobism will definitely do that, it isn't punisheable by law for nothing to be voicing such things.

Barring any immigrants from coming in is simply fighting the symptoms, it's not going to solve the real problem. Concentrate on that, and you might have more success and have a cup of tea with your Muslim neighbour too.
