For some reason I find this to be so incredibly annoying that people do this...

Re: Has advertising gone too far?

And they are packing down the sand while they do it, I prefer enjoying nice soft sand up to my ankles.

Very annoying imo.

#446612Post 12 of 33

Re: Has advertising gone too far?

I guess that wasn't that cheap to do that either. But it is quite tasteless. Unfortunately that's the advertising world for you. Completely tasteless.

They're just preparing for when they turn one side of the moon into a Cocacola or Pepsi symbol. This will happen, mark my words.

Re: Has advertising gone too far?

advertising has gotten out of control in the states. While you get petrol into your car, there is a TV blasting adverts right at you (some contain the weather, but thats the only useful bit) and while you line up to buy your groceries there is another TV in each lane blasting adverts. its getting beyond ridiculous.

Re: Has advertising gone too far?

tasteless, but I gotta give 'em the nod for ingenuity. That's pretty creative.

Re: Has advertising gone too far?

i think they are cleaning up the horrible beachesI.

id rather see a message in the sand then step on some broken glass, i believe they use a rototiller on the beach before they pack it.

Re: Has advertising gone too far?

I think thats genius. I want to design one, then again I do this for a living for 20+ years now. Definitely a different medium and challenge IMHO. Someone's making some decent bank on this.
