but does anyone need that much power?!?! But i would love to know what it sounds like with 10 speakers connected to it!

if i'm watching a movie, i really don't need to hear a gun shot come at me from 9 different directions, i live in st.louis, i can walk outside and hear that.

It doesn't look like a whole lot. But these components never do. I'll bet it can make for some great sound. But i think the market it is designed for it the audiophilies, but most of them probably wouldn't buy it anyway.

It looks like someone stuck an air pipe in the back and turned on the compressor.... looks bloated IMO

True, but imagine what a sick ass 10 speaker surround system mixed with a DVD audio player and that baby would sound like. :RightOn: I would never get something like that for movies, I don't watch enough. The tunes man, think of the tunes.

i think you guys are missing what this is designed for -- houses with different rooms having speakers.

so.. if the kids are watching a dvd, you are in the garage, the wife is in the kitchen, you can all listen to different sources.

i need power! i always wanted an amplif that can break my windows how much does it cost anyway?

I really have no use for this amp. Way to many channels. When is enough.
