that was the limited edition one, itsgoing to be over 2 grand in the uk when its released, they are releasing a cheaper alternative sometime this year as well but they haven't released the price of that one yet

considering i seen a boxed set of 1210's mk5's ( new ) on ebay selling for 3 grand i would say that if you invested in a set of these new ones ( limited editions ) you would get a healthy profit if you sold them in the future especially due to the fact that pioneer won't be making these again and they are extremely limited

"selling for" or "sold?" ...two entirely different things. I'm asking $100,000 for my cat, doubt i'll get it tho.
i was really getting at the idea of whatever proceeds these magical turntables bring being a "fortune" tho.

they were pretty dope for a turntable....
3 grans isnt too much money for many people, what if paris hilton wanted to try her luck with vinyl, shed drop em in a second

The funny thing is Technics got big because the direct drive motor they used had such good torque that a DJ could cue up a record at the speed it needs better than the other record players... So unless you need that in your life play your records on a cheaper one rich idiots lol

A decent 1200 or 1210 can still be found in the $550-$600 range which is affordable considering the longevity & quality.
