Just listened to the cd today, it's not that good, would only give it a play and then that's it. There's no flow to the mix, it's really choppy in and out if tracks and they don't build the mix. The mix never goes anywhere.

Guess I'm too used to the likes of sasha and diggers style of mixing.

I think it's the latter, not every genre, or style, creates sets "as a journey". Larry Levan couldn't beatmatch, for instance.

The beatmatching is fine on the mix, just the mix goes nowhere and there's no flow to it. Just finished listening to the other recent new fabric cd from Alan Fitzpatrick, much better.

i completely agree with this, i remember checking it out on the fabric website and listening to the samples and being impressed by it as i,m generally not a fan of groove but after listening to it in full i just didn't feel it one bit, disappointing
