maybe there are 2 different rips ? its nothing compared to studio sets quality but tunes can be identified quite well imo

i got a copy of that set, 177 mb wich sounds really bad.i see the set on megaupload is 250 mb,are there 2 different rips?

yes, unfourtenatly the quality of sound is not very good,

it`s the same with last year set of sasha on aria montreal, is the same quality

I noticed that too fer. The quality of last year's Aria set blows as well. Didn't take me but about 20 minutes before I filed it away in the Recycle Bin.

If a set is not soundboard or better then I am not interested in listening to them. I guess were all snobs here at MN or we just appreciate good quality music unlike some people.

Funny thread really, appreciate Skam and his Sasha findings.

Apparently some people do like to hear the set, even if the quality is dull or scratchy. I also prefer the best quality, even though it eats more disk space. Makes a huge difference in the car. I can understand folks wanting to grab of feel of the night in a liveset though.

no problem heard some studio quality sets and they are 100% more helpful for your health but there are definetely worse rips than this one

anyway, ime just looking for a tracklist if anyone mind :)

if you have a half decent stereo sytem, sets of this poor quality are just useless. They just sound awful.

If It was the first live DJ set I ever downloaded, Im sure id be pleased, but with a dozen or more Sasha sets already - whats the point in an attrocious recording?

i have not heard it yet. but surely if this set is laced with snap, crack, and pops, it's into soundforge for some cleaning. if that do not work. in the recycle we go. and i am going with it.

every recording from aria is the same way. i'm sure they're all from the same source, whoever that may be.

if the tunes are good, i can tolerate the lower quality.
