There is no place I would pop into without seeing a lineup :lol: They have regular nights that do have great residents. I think they are only open Friday and Saturday night. It's on the other side of town from me so I don't get there that often. They used to have a website but someone new started running it and he is hopeless. Website supposed coming for weeks and link to Facebook expired or private. :lol: He actually put up the notice for Hernan's gig on a unavailable Facebook page :lol: But the sound system makes it all worth while. :) And I know Danny Bonnici is still looking after it. :)

^^ Not at the moment but the more I hear the more I want to know . When I get some time I will try and hunt it out. But I believe the thing that makes every sound system great is the the way it is set up and the person who sets it up.

There are different types of club goers, I tend to enjoy alcohol and women while enjoying the music. I don't just trainspot like many of you probably. But as married man and father, it just doesnt make sense for me personally. But hey, everyone parties differently, and more power to you if you can go and just listen to techno for 5 hours sober with your mates.

Really really crap sound system in the main room and this huge VIP in FRONT of the Dj booth. :lol: I stayed in a side room all night last time which was OK. It was a while ago so it may have changed. I am going there next weekend to see Hot since 82 .

Wife and I are making the trek to the southern hemisphere for most of Feb. Leave in two days. Into Sydney for a bit, great river road to Melbourne, Yarra, trekking NZ from base to tip, etc. Just seeing if there was anything worth making time for club wise on the trip but not going to force it as it's not a top priority.

Digweed at Kristal in Bucharest. Great club, great sound system, £8 entrance, cheap drinks and hot chicks. Kristal is one friendly club.

Can't tell you how Hot Since 82 was, the sound was just so incredibly bad , and the event was so oversold you couldn't get into the room anyway.

Btw MY Aeon has just been closed for renovation , so they are fixing it up.!!! :D Not that it will mean anything for your trip :)

I go to clubs to enjoy, music, alcohol, class A drugs, trainspotting, dancing and spending time with like minded souls! It's a girl thang! Smack My Bitch Up.

Yikes. We contemplated going to Hot Since 82, (actually typing this from our Airbnb in Fitzroy right now) but passed as i'm not really in love with their style. Sounds like we picked a good one to skip- oversold events are the worst.

Melbourne is fucking amazing btw. 8)

That is really good to hear, I think Melbourne is pretty amazing as well. :) If you are still going to be here next weekend it's White Night .Plenty of things to do. I'm going to see Gavin Martin, GMJ, Aussie Prog Dj who has been producing some amazing stuff lately.
