Ever been to a classics night?

I haven't - but really would like to.... I know they have them, but wanted to hear from you about what the vibe is like... to hear only classic tracks in a club setting. I love those recent classic [URL="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=802"]Seb Fontaine[/URL] and Oakey mixes from Cream. I think here they may have classic nights, but that means breakbeats :lol:.

Been to loads, Twisted Audio do a couple a year. Older crowd, vibe is great 'like back in the day'. DJ wise, Ian Ossia banging out Renaissance classic's, whats not to like. If you get the chance go.

There's a bunch of yearly gigs that go on around here that happen around the xmas holidays. Biggest turnouts are usually for the breaks parties (and rightfully so - they're pretty off the hook and a lot of the locals come out of retirement)

@florida - I'm shocked that you haven't been to a classics night yet. They've been doing at least two Reunion parties in Orlando every year now (one of them just last month). Three if you count that Tampa event with Hardkiss.

I haven't gone out here since early 2000's when I would visit Orlando from San Diego. In SD it was connected with all that was going on, and in LA... It's different here, not nearly as much going on and I just assumed all the good venues were in Miami.
