Today:

Captiva Island, saw lots of manatee, dolphins, (see the hawk perched on the palm tree) and about 100 stingrays swimming down the shore, had to get out of the water to let them pass! [IMG]http://i.imgur.com/VLhZFXB.jpg[/IMG]

Nice photos everyone - yours made me smile Clint - I still need to visit Nola 1 day. Waterfalls are so powerful. J when did you go to Guatmala - that's impressive!

We went this past March, and was easily the highlight of a very well traveled year. Highly recommend Guatemala, specifically Lake Atitlan and the surrounding villages for an off the beaten path trip. Lake Atitlan rests between several active volcanoes, really spectacular area. Spend a night or two in La Antigua on your way. It's not an easy place to get to, but vacationing in unfucked places takes some well-worth-it effort.
