Avalon is a great venue for the Henry Saiz / live band thing. What a great club.

^^^ It is!!! Ive been there a few times and always enjoyed it. My avatar is from a Digweed Bedrock night there, which is still my fav club night out ever.

That's fucking dope - I would kill to see Digweed on their soundsystem.

I was lucky enough to see Sander Kleinenberg when I was there in 09 (I think?) I was back there in the fall of 2011, but went with my brother to see Amon Tobin's Isam tour at The Music Box (just down the street from the W Hotel) - I wanted to check out Avalon again, but didn't have the time - I was just there for a long weekend getaway.

I was out in L.A. this past summer, but it was more of a family thing and I was up in the Agoura Hills area - didn't really get a chance to head back into Hollywood to give Avalon a visit.

I'm determined to go back.
