Watching them Boiler Room's is really hard work. I think the Sven Vath one is the only one I have managed to watch all the way through.

Boiler room is a weird thing to me, an extension of what happens in clubs these days but taken to an extreme. It goes beyond the concept of people all facing the same way and videoing the dj and becomes the dj just playing to a camera. The crowd become a kind of afterthought, placed where the dj can't see them but he/she knows they are there as they come annoyingly close and their dancing, in the main is minimal, mostly consisting of shuffling your feet until you get into camera shot.

That said, I can watch this one happily for hours

The concept isn't that bad. I have watched a few Be-at TV broadcasts. With Be-at TV the sound quality is poor. With Boiler Room it's the bellends stood behind the DJ booth that make it unwatchable.
