#436342Post 5 of 58

Way to stay positive jerkoff.

j/k: Happy one year to everyone. I remember the bottomless feeling in my stomach when I couldn't log in. I was ready to throw myself down a flight of stairs.

Re: happy ~one year anniversary from when we re-registered

Man I remember that day, I came home from school to find the ugly surprise that MS was down.

Happy everything got back in to place!

#436436Post 18 of 58

This was a moment where I thought about just quitting everything that has to do with the site and run away as fast as I can. So much work was destroyed thanks to a shitty provider, I still get mad when I think about it. :Scared2:

Re: happy ~one year anniversary from when we re-registered

#436440Post 20 of 58

amen Mikey amen.... :!:

#436453Post 21 of 58

a year already...? god, time flies. or is it just me getting older? Anyway, that's defo an occassion to :Cheerz: The worst part of it was that for some (quite a long!) time nobody knew what was going on. I remember chem posting something on the bedrock board a few days after the crash - that was the first official news that ms is not dead for good.

#436460Post 22 of 58

Re: happy ~one year anniversary from when we re-registered

Wow...a year already?? Well, step back and take a look at what has transpired since that dreadful day. I would say we have experienced the most rapid period of growth in the last 12 months that I can recall since I've been here. Like I always say: from all bad comes some good. :Bingo:

#436508Post 28 of 58
from all bad comes some good
I would disagree to that...... if it wasnt for the enormous support of the team, we would have never made it to this day. So that should have actually been,

"In spite of all the bad if the team holds together, there's nothing but good to come from it" 8)

#436513Post 29 of 58

^ Great motivational speech there E. I would agree with you as well.

Explain to me the difference in what we each said. Mine was general, yours was specific, besides that I'm not seeing it. :NotMe:

#436535Post 35 of 58

no general / specifics.

the big diggerence is that its not necessary that all good comes from bad, its just the subsequent period is not filled with the crap that the bad delivered and hence has the feeling of "technically" being "good" in comparison. Most "good" doesn't automatically turn up. A shit load of effort goes into making anything "good".

Had we as a team done nothing during the course of the year, we would not have been where we are today. 8)

#436548Post 36 of 58

Re: happy ~one year anniversary from when we re-registered

So the "all" is where we are slipping. You're saying that the only reason we are in such a good place now is because of the hard work of the team, not because just because their is bad means that good will automatically come from it?? Make any sense?? :?

#436549Post 37 of 58

^^^ Bingo, you got it mate....

#436555Post 38 of 58

Re: happy ~one year anniversary from when we re-registered

Cool, cool...got it. :Bingo: Then I retract my previous statement. It's a testament to the strength of the team that we have experieced this rapid period of growth over the last 12 months. 8)
