My goodness. I think it's been since 2007 or so that i've been on here. I just was getting some old stuff from soulseek and thought, hey, what's MS up to these days. Site still looks the same. I'm sure most of us old guard are still around here in various online lives. :D

Hope all is well. I haven't been behind the decks for about 7 years now I think. I did one last mix that I put on soundcloud, it was all heavy tribal house, all done within ableton so I was able to use three decks/slots at one time in the mixing, that was fun. Maybe after all this talk, and a friend of mine who is now a well known NYC DJ... THE WIG. Whom i've been talking music with. Maybe I'll eventually get back into things. I feel the heart rhythm of disco burning in my loins. :lol:

Hey man! Welcome back - good to hear your returning to an old passion - how about your art/painting? Still doing that? Many members are still around, many aren't, many have kids now and are rightfully busy with family life, as am I but I still manage to kick it on here for a bit each day to find new tunes :).

Oh yeah I'm sure many have moved on. I've been doing a lot of work on my painting. And even took up filmmaking. Started my own little art documentary company [URL="http://www.duochromefilms.us"]Duochrome Films[/URL] and have been doing that since about 2011. It's mostly a labor of love since there isn't much money in it. But I have been trying to look into getting sponsors for it, but there is surprisingly little about how much to ask from companies on the net about sponsorship. LOL.

Yeah the Ambient forum I definitely need to catch up with. Still love listening to it. Just saw a documentary the other day on the HANG. A spaceship looking instrument that is akin to a Caribbean steel drum turned inside out. Very cool stuff. And now used quite a bit in ambient and world musics.

I just listened the other day to some Digweed sets on the soundcloud page but they were nothing like the ones I remember being wow'd with in the last 2003-2005 range.

Sorry for the pause. I came back and then got busy doing nothing. :D Actually quite a lot. I moved from Columbus to this little town in Pennsylvania called Tamaqua and am now living back in Columbus. Next stop is Los Angeles. I'm working on a move possibly after June, but if things get going really well it might be before. Would be cool to finally hang out with all my MS LA folk.
