Chris never seems to get the credit he is due. . One of the best technical DJs out there, and a thoroughly nice person. :)
Have a great night.!! He played at the first ever dance event I went to and I have lost count of how many times I have seen him. I know I have never been disappointed in him .!!:D

lol at the Cleveland video. I was born and raised there. Moved to Fla when i was 23 though and would Never move back, as far as Fortier super nice cat and great dj although i do prefer his older sets.

The reason St . Louis sucks is because there is no "good" DJ scene... None of my favorite or even likable djs come here... So thats why its a rare treat. The last time Hernan Cattaneo played here was like 10 years ago and that was only because he was touring with Paul Oakenfold.

I was at the sarsha and digweed shows lol The digweed only show was the best. But all the others would have been awesome... What promo group does those shows?

I did a little over half of those parties as JNX/Alphahouse, which is why it was so easy for me to recall how awesome they were...i'm also probably a little biased. lol. I don't throw parties anymore- after throwing a monthly for 4+ years it wears on you. I've seen promoters in other major cities pass the 10 year mark and that's just an incredible feat to me, it's just so exhausting.
These days- check out FutureExWife for underground goodness, 4sho still does warehouse parties- that's who brought in Claude Von Stroke, i'm sure you know B&W, they still do major events, Napalm brings in some progressive house djs. St. Louis has never been a place where events are plastered on billboards, you're going to have to go out on a regular basis and seek it. At that point if you don't find the sound you like, do what we did- bring the sound you want to STL on your own. You're a dj- rent some speakers, find a space, bring in talent, promote and create the vibe yourself. You want Hernan Cattaneo? He's for hire, make it happen.

^^^ Do you still DJ? I would like to come check out one of your sets... All I know is B&W parties now days... I went to 4sho parties back in the day of Rave. Thanks for the other names, I will keep up better with those.
It would be a dream to bring Hernan to St. Louis, I just don't think that others share that same vision. Which is fine, just gotta make trips to Chicago.

Yeah but not with consistency. I'm talking about people who throw a monthly or bi-monthly party.
