Anyone ever used "oxalic acid wood bleach" before? Our new house has a few areas near the kitchen sink that could use some touching up, or possibly replacing. But before doing the latter I was curious if I could clean them.

I used to install wood & laminate flooring for a living. Use Zep or Thomasville. Take a flat mop, wrap it with a cloth, spray the floor with said, & sweep. Done.

Perfect thanks man. Tried bathroom bleach cleaner foam :lol: and it actually worked ok, but your route sounds more promising. Will it remove the finish? I actually installed wood floors too, when I was 15 one summer, in mansions and malls. Crazy how much money some ppl have. But I digress.

Florida...No, It won't hurt the flooring at all. We use that spray technique immediately following the install to clean up the job.
