The speedometer goes up to 160mph but I've only gotten up to 110mph in my trusty little '99 VW Jetta.

USA 2001 Ford Focus ZX3 Speedometer goes up to 140MPH Ive gotten mine to 130MPH when i first bought it never got it up that high again. :)

I ve driven a Mercedes 500 SL @ 243 km , must be like 170 or 180 MPH , that was in 99 , I still remember the adrenaline rush in my body .

i drive on mercedes A160 with 200 km/h maximum,spedometr is 220 km/h.I drive in center Prague on vaclavska area 100 km/h but not ever.

140mph I`ve had out of my VW Golf GT TDI 150. Awesome car that when driven carfully will give you 55mpg

2000 prelude sh speedo says 150 & have only got it to 140. it was out of steam, but still felt stable. not so sure i would do that now as the tires are almost crapped.

got a economicable '98 Corolla..maxed it out one late night at 120.

First car I had was an '88 Mercury Topaz (when Ford actually BUILT their cars :lol: )..that was only a 4-cylinder @ 80 tops, but I pushed it to 90 (had the thing rattling like crazy and the needle fully pinned :CrackUp: )

Yes, I speed...a lot. But also safely, not like some people who drive down the road like a slalom course :evil:

probably only about 110mph in my car (99 Civic EX), but I hit 95mph daily so that makes up for it I think

I have a buddy who routinely see 120+ on his way to/from work, he's crazy :shock:

my last car, also my first, was a '91 Mazda 929, I got a speeding ticket in which the trooper claimed I was going 105 mph, the odometer went to like 140 or 160 mph. . .I think that was the fastest I've ever driven. now I drive like a little bitch cuz I don't wanna get another speeding ticket

2001 VW jetta 1.8T wolfsburg max odometer 160mph, fastest gone 135mph down I5 on my way to Vegas. It was a good thing my wife was asleep in the passenger seat or I'm sure I wouldn't have heard the end of it. :lol:

145mph is the fastest I've done in my car, a BMW Z4. Don't go over about 90 in the UK now as my licence has a few points on it.

Once did 300 miles in France with my Dad driving when I was a kid in a BMW M5 in just over 2 hours - speedo was showing 170mph... Best bit was we were being overtaken quite often, once by a guy on a bike wearing just shorts, t-shirt and shades!! Crazy shit!

Top speed driven: 120 Car speedometer top speed: 160 Car: IS300 manual

This was on a long straightaway on a two lane country road with no shoulder and trees five feet from the side of the road, so it felt like I was going light speed. To me going through some twisty turns is what really makes your hair stand on end. People love to talk about burning out at top speed. No one ever talks about taking a 90 degree turns in thier neghborhood at 45 or 50 or going 65 on banked highway exits. :twisted:

There's this flat stretch of road between Kansas City and Springfield (Missouri) that crosses over Truman Lake which has what seems like a mile of bridges. There's 2 one-way bridges, one going each direction, and the edges of the bridge go up enough so that you can barely see traffic on the other side. Every time I cross that bridge I floor it, because there's no way any cop can see through the bridges, and if he somehow did he wouldn't be able to turn around for miles. It's where i've hit my top speed

I've probably only had my current car up to 85 or 90 mph, but it's a 2004 Jeep Wrangler. They don't have the smoothest or most aerodynamic ride in the world, so when you're going 90 mph, it feels like you could fly off the road at any moment...
