That twit ken_allen on the other board appears to think that all there is to DJing is beat matching. Maybe that is true for him, but your better DJs tend to do a bit more than that.

he runs ableton (software) on his mac
the maven (mixer) is basically an involved midi controller that controls various aspects of ableton

^^ I understand what you are saying, but you know what though, I bet he wouldnt even care if someone copied it. Now someone like Tiesto would most likely have it patented and selling them for $1000's with his logo on them, lol.
