Re: So I graduated college
Congrats guys, welcome to the real world.
Re: So I graduated college
good luck finding a job..seriously! And if you do get something quick, you've beaten many of the odds right now.
Re: So I graduated college
Congrats!
Just graduated myself from Minnesota State University - Mankato with majors in Marketing and Int. Business. Feels good to be out. But started my new career 2 days after graduating... its difficult to adjust to the real world. I only have like 40 years left of working, so thats comforting.
I thought my studying was finished.. not even close, thats all I have been doing at my new job for the last 2 weeks, and only 6 more weeks of it to go... shitty!
For those who want to know.. the job market is decent right now... if you like accounting or sales you can find a job right away.. but finance, marketing and managment is more difficult. It seems to be on its way up though.
good luck

[quote=FM]good luck finding a job..seriously! Also that this year's graduates' starting salaries are higher than in years past.
Re: So I graduated college
Congrats man. There is no better feeling then finally being done with school. Good Luck with everything.
Re: So I graduated college
Thanks for the love fellas. I've got a few freelance jobs working that will keep me aflot for a while. I'm going to be careful about where I apply, for it's easy to get sucked into the "corporate mind"..................of course until I'm broke in a year; then I'll work for the slug if necessary.
I'm really looking into web design. I've learned Flash and Freehand over the past three years while getting my degree, and I'm working on a site for self promotion. Hopefully I'll be finished in a month or so, then the application process will be a little easier with an online porfolio.
