for what it is though soundcloud is relatively expensive plus it deletes sets, i,m a little surprised by this considering that rapidshare was once in the top 50 sites on the net, it must be competition taking it out

They were no longer accepting dubious content, it was a matter of time as we all know that pirated files represented 99,9% of the traffic.

£75 a year is hardly expensive, I was paying £60 for Filefactory, they also delete sets. I think I might migrate over to soundcloud when my subscription is up.

Re: rapidshare shutting down

I use mediafire . They don't remove sets, Even the copyright ones they leave up so you don't lose them . Cost around 60 pounds year.

I can't say it will make any difference.

Re: rapidshare shutting down

To be honest, form an exposure view point, soundcloud seems the best.

Always a risk, I wouldn't delete the files stored at FF. But if you come back to SC (at last) that's good news.

All my files are stored on at least 2 hardrives, so I have no worry of losing anything. I only have 477 (92 GB) stored on Filefactory.
