remember the days few years ago when everyone at every club used to play around with glowsticks? some were really good and then there were always drunks guys and gals that just kinda played around with them.
well, i still see one or two glowstickers during dj events here (USA). some were those leftovers from the glowstick haydays and some are the drunk guy/gal looking silly.
are glowsticks truly dead? how about your city?

One night I saw a girl who bites the glowstick and it brokes up in her mouth, I never forgot the face of the girl, it taste worst than shit.

Mobile phones are modern glowsticks for me.... They are blinking and flashing and the amount of people using them is insane and annoying at the same time. Similiar like with glowsticks, you [b]always[/b] have to watch out the guy making a photo or writing a SMS to his drug dealer that he does not hit you with his mobile phone while you are moving along to do something strange in a club....dancing. :evil:

heh, glowsticks are fun to watch. but I'd never do it... I hate whistles though!!!!!!!!!!! nothing more annoying to ruin a good track

the only thing more annoying than a whistle... some guy with one of those horns using it every 10 seconds just a couple inches away from your head...

i haven't seen any glowsticks in a while, however back in the day i saw some pretty nice light shows that some ravers were giving.. these guys were spectacular AND in sync with the music.. can't get better than that.. but i'm glad they've died down.. i wonder what trend will start next?
Don't see them very often any more and I can't say that is problem for me. Yeah everyone has danced with them, yes everyone had fun with them at one point, but that doesn't make them right. It's just one of those horrible misdeeds we will have to endure. The next time I see glowsticks on strings :KillYou:

Well back in the day in my raver days, I saw them everytime we went out (because we were mostly at raves). I do see them every once in a while...someone had two glowsticks on strings at RITM a few weeks ago. Usually, I wouldn't look twice but the guy was really good. I rarely see this though. Not my thing, occasionally I'll see them at a house party, but for the most part, I think they're a thing of the past. :)
Never used them. If I see them in a club, and its just another thing really.
i used to for a few years and then graduated to a more liquid form of dancing. But i do bring lights with me when I goto the clubs but I always end up dancing more without them than with them.
Glowsticks are very annoying in clubs.

I love the pretending to be a candy raver thing. It is about the only thing that keeps me awake most of the time. I think they are a dying breed though, in gatecrasher recently i wanted to find some to see if i could look as gimpish as all the pvd fans there, but none of the barstaff seemed to even knoww what a glowstick was. There were however lots of people saying how they enjoyed drinking them.
LEDs are certainly the nads, got some for one of my mates for a pound, he dances like a mentalist and it looks awesome, I dance like I am missing a leg, and it still looks OK :D

yes, asians love glowsticks! i'm an asian so i'll say it for those who might be afraid to say it for fear of being labeled a racist. they are usually those pineapple headed, half-gangsta wannabe, half-raver asian punks with lots of fakeness and attitude. and they talk like "DiS bE mAd DoPe Yo!!!" annoying.

Leave the glowsticks at raves.
Don't bring them to the clubs, bars, discotheques, etc...; they look cheesy being there, plus you shouldn't be using those things in the tight confines of the clubs... ooh look at me bobbing around with a glowstick.
glowsticks are a thing of the past.. and thats where they should stay.. theres no need for them whatsoever!!!
