Had a chance to hear most of this CDset. I dont like most of the tracks and am suprised to hear this type of sound from him. Comparing to Communicate or GU-LA, complete difference. I think hes trying to attract the younger crowd to get more$$. just wondering if anybody liked this Azuli??

Been caning it non-stop in my car. Digweed's diversity of sounds never ceases to amaze me. Whether it's a classic house collection (Azuli) or electro-infused house from 2005 (Fabric 20), it's always great stuff!

lol. man, the tracks on the azuli comp are digweed's classics...he isnt trying to appeal to a younger audience, he is trying to pay respect to the OLD days. most, if not all of these tracks are from the early nineties.
they arent exactly my favorite either, but its good to know the roots of the music you listen to.

Great comp. probably one of the better comp's I heard this yr. But be prepared for some killer releases in the next couple of months.

I just didnt like it at all. Iam aware of the classic theme but cant enjoy much of it. guess everybody has their own preference. glad to hear some of you guys like it

Most of the tracks are pre-renaissance 1 or from that period. Its interesting to hear the kind of music the initial renaissance release developed from.
I've only listened a couple of times but i like what i'm hearing. Its got a good range of sounds and the majority of the tracks are new to me (having started clubbing in the mid 90s after most were released) so all in a nice mix. Shows how far House has moved on since the early 90s.

this is a fuckin wicked set, both CDs are a true reflexion on old skool daze gone by...the way he mixes the tracks is the style that was going on then too...i told diggy how much i liked this mix and he said that he liked it a lot too... :arrow:

^Thanks for bumping this thread... gave it a listen today and I really like the vibe! I wish there was more classics comps like this one.. great music. I was 5-6 years old when this was going on, so its great to hear :D
