Re: Remembering life events through [ms]

So many changes since 2005, I can hardly believe it when I really stop and think about it. Graduated college, joined the corporate world, left the corporate world, moved across the country, got married, had a baby, started working in ShowBiz, traveled a bit, made new friends, missed old friends. One of the few constants really has been MS. :bump

year after year of listening to tons of Prog....

.....and I still like Oakenfold mixes from the 90's and early 00's

:beat:have had some good laughs and found some amazing music from this thread. Shoutout to all the members who have brought their unique personalities and tastes to MS...Happy Holidays to you all!

Re: Remembering life events through [ms]

[ms] has and 'hopefully' always will be a constant. been a part of this amoeba since the AudioGalaxy days and it certainly has been a pleasure ever since.

Jibbly was the only individual on this site that i felt like i got close to on a friend level. and yes it was horrible learning about his passing on here (day before taking a CPA exam no less) but it was amazing the way we all came together back then and supported one another. that is one thing that i have always loved about this place. while it certainly is about the Music and hopefully always will be it is about the people you meet and interact with along the journey.

while i have not gotten close to anyone on here since Jibbly, i feel that i do connect with a lot of people through the various music posts i share. i always enjoy reading the thanks and appreciation. similar taste in music goes a long way.

i do not really watch the news so [ms] and various internet news outlets are my source.

@ florida - 90's - 00's Oakenfold is amzing, never be ashamed! :)

Re: Remembering life events through [ms]

Really happy to have found [ms], don't watch the news either ...so often hear about things here first & the discussions are fun. New music, new ideas, new viewpoints, all from [ms].. thanks & glad to be here!

One thing I've learned not to do is take [ms] too much with me on my cell, because someone posted an album from youtube the other day, I put it on in the car, zoned out for a bit, and got stopped for speeding. If I'm going to zone out while listening, it better be at home.

My first 8-9 months here were the most fun-- lots of laughs, absurdities, amusing hijinks & fun interactions.

Processing the passing of well-known celebrities and the strange world events here is interesting and also really helpful at times.

Hope everyone has the happiest of holidays, full of joy, and if not, someone's always here on [ms] to commiserate with...

We're all meeting in Buenos Aires in 2015, right?

~Make it fun!!! ;)

Re: Remembering life events through [ms]

Meeting some amazing people over the years. Saturday I was on the train to Fabric and I look across and I see Funkykarma, who I would have never met if it wasn't for this place. There are others too, SimonR, Dzone, Jeff etc, who all share that one love.

Re: Remembering life events through [ms]

Oh [ms].... way too many life events to be remembered, forgotten and some treasured.

Thank you for being a constant since 2002. Members on this board are truly gems and sometimes diamonds in the rough :)

Re: Remembering life events through [ms]

Not counting as a registered user, i've spent a big part of my life on this beautiful site which still is the best site.. technologies make it looks less important than we can think but we all know would be terrible if MS is not there anymore..

Long live to the best site ever.. and have a great 2015 you all
