I think we should somehow do a better job of educating the youth about how to safely take drugs .. dying from taking MDMA is unacceptable

Re: fabric nightclub poss facing closure

I have never really rated it as a club. I have had some good nights there, but nothing that has blown me away. I'm going Saturday for the first time in over 10 years, maybe it has changed.

There is only so much you can do. Most people are fully aware of the risks. You would be hard pushed to get some quality MDMA in London these days.

Real mdma is a safer than a lot of prescription drugs. The problem comes about because most of what is labelled mdma , isn't. It should be legalised.

Of course yes, because, sometimes, for a couples of idiots the cost is too high for the rest, when these people drive their cars after the club, in who knows which state and then the "shits happen" lets see who is too judgmental later. if these people die by itself, is one thing but if involve to others the problems can be serious.

Ok, I'm going too far. forget it.

I've driven my car back from a club on many of occasion after taking pills, fair easier than being drunk

Ok, I'm going too far. forget it.[/QUOTE] People who drink alcohol are far more likely to get in a car and kill someone , they do it every week here . It's always sad to me when someone dies from either alcohol or drugs, and it's far more likely to be alcohol. Particularly a young person. The facts are that we have all been through times when we did silly things. it's a part of learning. We were lucky. We are all idiots at some time in our life but it didn't kill us.

The biggest problem with party drugs is that a lot of time they are not what they are supposed to be. No on died in America before it was made illegal.

Interestingly we have far more deaths from actual alcoholic poisoning than illegal drug use , but while we do have campaigns about drinking too much , death isn't given a possible consequence.
