Problem downloading w/ powerbook

I just recently got a Powerbook and I tried downloading one of the Kiss sets, but after typing in the password I didn't get a pop-up window either saying that the download would take a few moments or whether I wanted to open or save the file. Anyone know what the problem may be?

Re: Problem downloading w/ powerbook

Are you using safari? If so safari has a built in pop-up blocker, you need to turn it off. Go into the safari menu and turn it off or command-k for short cut.

Ok great, I got past that, but now it doesn't allow me to rename the file from .exe to .mp3 before downloading. Is this supposed to happen? What should I do?

Ah ok, got it. That's cool that on the macs I can rename after. I had to do it before downloading w/ Windows.

:| - you can do it anytime with any file, not sure what settings were enabled / disabled at your end
