This week we can provide you with quite a good mixture again. First of all, many thanks to Mirel Jarca who made an exclusive two hours progressive mix for Mercurynation. Skahound gave me an awesome live set from Damian Lazarus for hosting. A lot of people have been talking about this guy lately so I am sure you will enjoy his mix. Gregor aka Barneyillfingas supported us ? once again ? with the goodies and gave us the April edition of the Feeback sets from Can Costa and Lucas Abadi which both aired on Proton radio in the end of April. To complete this week?s list we are hosting a set from one of my favourite German Producers, Der dritte Raum. If you like energetic Acid sounds, take care to listen to their live PA gig in Berlin from March 2005.
How's the Damian Lazarus? anyone heard yet it?
I've heard it about 500 times in the last 2 weeks. Seriously, of all the sets I have of Damian Lazarus, it's the most indicative of what many of us were fortunate enough to witness down in Miami. I hope you guys enjoy it.
Re: Mirel Jarca, Damian Lazarus, der dritte Raum & Costa/Abadi
Thanks Tom for the great specials. I will defiently check out some of the specials this weeks.
Re: Mirel Jarca, Damian Lazarus, der dritte Raum & Costa/Aba
Thank you.
Re: Mirel Jarca, Damian Lazarus, der dritte Raum & Costa/Abadi
Mirel Jarca is the best things since sliced bread. loved his four hour set from a month or so ago. cant stop listening to it.
thanks you MN
Re: Mirel Jarca, Damian Lazarus, der dritte Raum & Costa/Abadi
thanks, the lazarus and der dritte raum should be just the ticket for me
Re: Mirel Jarca, Damian Lazarus, der dritte Raum & Costa/Abadi
Man this Damian Lazarus is massive. I am almost done listening to the whole thing. What a great set. This guy just came out of no where. I will I did not even know who this guy was until WMC. Now I am hooked on listening to his sets. I have his families cd, beats in space mix and his live at womb. Now this mix. I highly recommend any of these sets.

Actually, he didn't. It's just now people who have been into other types of music, like prog and trance, now recognize what a massive talent he's always been. Crosstown Rebels, his label, has been putting out quality for quite awhile. It's just s shame a lot of people don't look past deep dish, sasha, and digweed and that sort to get deeper into music unless it's on global underground.
Re: Mirel Jarca, Damian Lazarus, der dritte Raum & Costa/Aba
Jenksie, any way you can ID the 2nd track of the 2nd part of the Lazarus set? It's the one right after 'The Sky Was Pink'.
Re: Mirel Jarca, Damian Lazarus, der dritte Raum & Costa/Aba
Wow so much quality music continues to come down the MN pipeline. Both Ricky and Lucas are estatic that this community get to check out their beats. Feedback is one of the hottest new shows on Proton and I'm sure after you hear these sets you'll know why. Funky beats, always with an edge, these Argentinians know more than soccer and basketball that's for sure. Thanks MN for hosting the sets, enjoy.
gregor.

Re: Mirel Jarca, Damian Lazarus, der dritte Raum & Costa/Aba

Hi Jenks. I listen to other music. Please do hate me. I always try new things. Thank you.
Re: Mirel Jarca, Damian Lazarus, der dritte Raum & Costa/Abadi
^dude, it's not like that...i'm just saying, there is a lot of really fantastic music out there for the digging. I'm not hating on anyone for their music tastes.
(unless you're a trance fan, then, man, i just don't get it. lol)

I listen to all kinds of music. Jenks I kinda know what your saying it seems a lot of people just want to go to see the headline djs and that is. When there are a lot of good djs all over the place that also need exposure. I was just saying that for most of us this was our first exposure to damian. But I am sure for some people they have known about him for a while. Anymore there is to many djs out there but the good ones always to find a way out of the pack.
Re: Mirel Jarca, Damian Lazarus, der dritte Raum & Costa/Abadi
i love the der dritte raum and damian sets. i've been looking for a der dritte raum live forever, and this one totally rocks! the flow is amazing, and the tracks are all live reconstructions. i heard pieces of many tracks i know, but never the whole track in its orignal form.
but i think damian could improve his mixing and overall flow. the music is awesome, but it doesn't always hold together completely. he's actually only been dj'ing seriously for a few years now, so he's bound to get much better.
Re: Mirel Jarca, Damian Lazarus, der dritte Raum & Costa/Aba
thanks for the lazarus set.. enjoyed the tracks he featured.
Re: Mirel Jarca, Damian Lazarus, der dritte Raum & Costa/Abadi
I listened to Der Dritte Raum and Damien Lazarus this weekend, and both kicked serious ass!
Lazarus' set is probably my favourite special so far this year. Chunky, funky and tweaking! :Respect:
Der Dritte Raum: acid techno from start to finish. Well done!
