I ask mecause they need to be joined together with HJ split. When it was on the other site it didn't need to be joined with HJ split.

tintin, I've got the same issue as you, but noone bothers to answer so i did analyse the files (not listen to them, no time yet)
the files posted first time were: part 1 103,335,936 bytes part 2 103,000,000 bytes part 3 n/a part 4 103,335,936 bytes
the files now on download page are: part 1 55.00 + 54.14 MB giving around 114,441,585 bytes part 2 98.23 MB 103.001.620 bytes part 3 90.51 MB 94.906.614 bytes part 4 75.00 + 30.75 MB 110.886.912 bytes
I'm sure that the use of HJ-Split is not responsable for the too big diferences so I'm dl the hole set again and deleting the old files.

mmhm I uploaded the version we received from ddr and I don't think Sheppie (who uploaded part one, two and four first) did any changes when they were online for the first time. The file size of the original mp3's as shown on my hard drive are:
pt1: 111.756 kb pt2: 100.915 kb pt3: 92.681 kb pt4: 108.288 kb

They are only split to be able to host all parts at the same time and it has nothing to do with the files.
All of the parts (1,2 & 4) I have are 98.5 mb :?:

I redownloaded everything because the parts 1-2-4 were not the same size as the previous ones.
safe to say just re-DL them all over again. ><
file sizes (tru file size) on my comp are shown as:
1: 114,437,143 2: 103,335,938 3: 94,904,238 4: 110,886,161
maybe the previous ones weer downgraded to 160? i dont know... when i was a mod i know that the ftp's can only hold 100mb at a time. which is why they split the ones over 100mb up into 2 pieces. just a little fyi.

I've compared the first 3 files with the new ones (after using HJ Split to join on 1st and 4th). They are not the same.
i havent checked the downloads for a bit...i didnt even know there was a howells set lol.
